Yeah, it was a little confusing the way I drew it, but the intent on the earlier page was that he was supposed to be walking in the opposite direction he was told to go, specifically to avoid the principal. Surely there’s no way that can backfire!
Was there ever a panel where the full name of the school is written? I can’t seem to remember if there is one. “Debussy High School” is a pretty ritzy name for an educational institution, it sounds like the name of a musical conservatory or an international or prep school. What are the school’s colors and mascots? I ask because I’m sure you’ve already thought all of that stuff up lol.
It only appeared once, back on the sign in Chapter 2! It is in fact a public school, it just happens to be in a (fictional) town with a fancy sounding name. The colors are blue and yellow and as mentioned on the sign, the mascot is the Thunderbug (the Roarin’ Thunderbug, to be precise), which is a key element to a folktale relating to the founding of the Debussy. The people of Debussy don’t like to talk about their town’s history much…
Oh jeez, don’t even get me started on out of date equipment at the workplace! No exaggeration, the copyright date on our inventory systems is like, 1988.
I thought he was going to the…no, he was running away from the principal. Yeah, he would never find him in class.
