Last week I mentioned I was going to try experimenting with the way I handle my workload and hopefully by able to start posting pages more frequently as a result. It actually went pretty well, but when I said that, I totally forgot that this weekend is New York Comic Con, which will be severely limiting my art time. However! We’re almost done with this scene, and I plan to finish the last three pages within the next two weeks. After that, things get good! Subjectively!
Oh and speaking of NYCC, I’m going to be at NYCC! I won’t have a table myself, but I will be working the registers at the Midtown Comics booth Friday through Sunday and roaming the show floor at least on Saturday. Come visit me or if you see me, say hi and I’ll give you some free stuff (my stuff, not stuff they’re selling at the booth).
Daniel’s face looks cuter in the last panel.
Surprised confusion is probably my favorite expression to draw!
I like that the ‘flick’ also looks like a ‘fuck’ :p
Funny story: when I was drawing it I thought it would be funny if I did that intentionally, but I ended up being like “nah, I’ll just do it normal.” Turns out it ended up happening anyway!
Nice work, dude.
Just sharing (Hope you like it):

Oh hey, I actually got a promo copy of this album sent to the store I work at the other day! I haven’t listened to it or anything (I’ve been kind of obsessed with this lately), but I definitely dig this. I’m gonna give the whole thing a shot tomorrow!
I can’t watch either. Stupid Gema… 🙁
Ah dang, that’s right, I always forget that the internet works differently in different parts of the world. I’ll have to think of a non-region-specific alternative…
“Stop…words.”
but yeah i’m so happy he turned!! 🙂
Originally I had him say “Shut up,” but that kinda seemed out of character.
And he’s going to be happy he turned too, even if it takes him a little while to realize it!
“This is probably my last chance. Let’s just go through with it…”
I was explaining Easy to a friend once, and when it came time to describe Josiah, I said, “he’s basically constantly frustrated but not really outright angry, like every single thing he does is done under protest.” So yeah, I’d say you pretty much nailed it!
That sounds way too much like me. But I can’t grow such a nice beard 🙁
My inability to grow a beard will forever haunt me.
